This doesn't seem right and I can't find any info on this so I'm wondering if y'all can help me out.
A friend of mine sat in with us a little while ago and brought his MB200 and 2x10 cab. As soon as we hooked him up to the PA he wasn't getting anything out of his cab. When we unplugged the XLR his cab was working again. That seems like an awful design. I looked on GK's site for the manual and couldn't find anything suggesting that plugging in the XLR defeats the cab connection. I'm guessing something is wrong with his MB200.
So, is this how it's designed or is there something wrong with his MB200? If something is wrong with it, have any of you encountered this? What direction should I be steering him in?
Thanks for your help.
