More in the saga of my new-to-me RB800. Got a set of rack ears, the type that replaces the sides. However, while it fits to the point that the ears line up with the front panel, the screw holes on the top of the ear panel at the rear are the only ones that line up. In fact, there is no place for the front top screws to go in that replacement ear panel. It's just cut short of the front part and the mount for the stock panel is exposed. Is this the way that panel is or did I get the wrong thing? My model is drilled for what looks to be smaller rack ears that just screw to the front of the stock side panels and this one was for the 1994 RB800. Is mine an older, different style? I can make this one work with an extra piece of metal but just curious and a bit disappointed in what I got.
