Glenn always commanded my respect. Couldn't read a note, but what an ear!! Both guitar and singing. I think he went on the road with a C&W band when he was like 14 playing the hard bar route. He played bass on the first Beach Boy albums as well as guitar.

Notice, he uses a 12 string with only 6 strings. Gives a real wide neck which is really useful for pull offs and other stuff.
