I was looking thru some headless bass bridge designs and came across this one. Back in the 1994 Gotoh catalog, they had an unusual headless bass bridge. Kind of reminds me of a Kubicki system in some ways. Has anyone ever seen one of these in the wild and if so what basses came with it. Thanks

I recall something similar used on Sanox Leduc LogaBass. The scattered pics I found had a different saddle config, though. It's a rather over-convoluted design as it accommodates the ball end unlike the Kubicki. Should have just stuck with a Steinberger-esque micrometer.

Thanks for the info. I search for that bass since you mentioned it and one source said it uses custom Gotoh hardware inspired by Kubicki.
I've had a Steinberger since 1984 and the design is simple. I have a Hipshot headless bridge on a build I did and it's simple too, although I like the Steinberger system a little better. I never owned a Kubicki, but their system was nice, but more complex than the direct pull Steinberger style. This Gotoh system looks overly complex but pretty interesting.
Thanks again for the info
