A coworker of mine brought me her son's bass, fairly certain that it is this one, and the neck pickup is missing one of it's screws, so the pickup has sunk into the body. Any chance anyone can tell me what kind of screw I need in order to help her get it properly set up. Will I need to take the mounting ring off the pickup in order to take care of this? I just don't want to take things apart any more than I need to if it can be avoided. I can provide pictures if needed.
Bonus (off topic) question: one of the original Gretsch branded knobs is missing, does anyone know where they can be found or can I just replace both with some typical speed knobs?
