Hey Guys,

I have a good question for you what is this circuit? I have an Idea.. but I'm not sure. it's an overdrive. Anyway background I went to Musicgoround looking for a messdrive hybrid plus I saw a while ago.. it was bought.. but I got looking at the pedals and I found a couple.. anyway I found this Black DIY pedal for $10.00 I tried it out it sounded good so I took a risk and got it.. because I'm goofy.. and hell it was worth a shot..

anyway There's the picture.. and I wish you luck in your guesses.. what Circuit is this? Thanks

The "Pedal PCB" screened on to the circuit board is a big clue. After digging through Pedal PCB's website, it appears you have a "Glory Hole Overdrive."

It uses a dual op-amp, first stage is the input buffer with some tone shaping, second stage is the clipping (distortion) stage with 4 diodes in the op-amp feedback loop for "soft clipping", then a treble-cut tone control and an FET output buffer before the output volume control.

Not the neatest build I've ever seen, but it looks solid and should be reliable for you. Center control tone is the tone control, the outer knobs are drive and volume, which is which should be obvious with some experimentation. Toggle switch on top is also a treble cut switch. For ten bucks, you scored.

I think @Crater is right.
