So basically I was looking for a basement bass for practice and I had an old Jag with messed up tone and volume pots just sitting in a case. I had no extras in the work shop so I decided to just gut the bass, wire the two pick ups together and right to the jack. I must say I'm kind of digging the sound. I might bring it to my next show as a drop D bass. It sounds better than it did when the pots that were in it were still good lol. Anyone else run any of their bass's this way?
