Harmony Bass Identification or Information?

This one is for sale fairly close to where I live and the asking price is pretty low. The description says "works" and that's it. Does anyone know anything about these? Model? Scale length? Good cheap bass? Bad cheap bass?

Those tuning machines kind of look like they came from a Fender but I could be mistaken.

The ears of those tuning machines may look like Fender but the shaft is way too small diameter. Fairly cheap late 60s or early 70s bass, might be a good one, might not.

I don’t know a model but it’s an inexpensive possibly Japanese or wherever eastern manufacture moved after Japan, Korea maybe? Definitely in the 70’s time frame that gave Far East factories a bad name.

The metal pickups like that can be kinda cool but I wouldn’t expect a whole lot from the bass. It appears to be a guitar scale length. Probably in the 24-26” range.

Actually, on a second look, it could be in the 30” scale range. It’s hard to tell because I’m pretty sure the body is small. Anyway, fun to fool with but I wouldn’t depend on it for a gig. A song or two at best.

Post-1969 and therefore in my opinion not a real Harmony. That particular instrument has no heritage. Unless I badly wanted a platform for a piccolo bass I would stay clear.

Hey fan club, I just ordered this pass on reverb

It's short scale, other than that neither I or the seller knows much about it and there is nothing online about it

Anyways id be stoked if anyone knew anything
