Hartke LH1000 into Hydrive 410 AND VX410?

OK, Talk Bassers, hoping you can help me here.

I have a Hartke LH1000 into a HyDrive 410 (8ohms, rated 1000 watts) in bridge mode with speakon cable and it sounds great. BUT, I have a VX410 cab (400 watts at 8ohms) that's just sitting in the corner collecting dust. Is there anything I can do to safely use this cab and would I even want to?

If so, how would you recommend connecting it all together?

Switch the amp back to stereo and run one 1/4" speaker cable into the Hydrive 4X10 and another 1/4" speaker cable into the VX 4X10. One from the left output and the other from the right. I don't think the VX will be up to par with the Hydrive though. I gigged the LH1000/Hydrive 4X10 for a few years and it handled everything fine......(I always did have FOH support though).

Edit: you can also use the balance knob when in stereo to manage levels going to each cab.

Thanks. It's worth trying out to see the difference in sound. I was worried about damaging the VX or the head since the VX is only rated to 400 watts.
