Hartke Transient Attack 210?

I have an a hartke 210xl and am going to add a second to give the vertical 210 stack thing a go.

So, looking to see if I can find a deal on a used cab, I ran across a 210 'transient attack' on guitar center's used site, it looks the same, or very similar to the 210xl, but in a short search I wasn't able to find much about it. Does anyone have any experience with those? Is it just like the generation before the xl, or more along the lines of transporter series (which my understanding is weren't that great)?

The price is appealing, though with the 210xl being pretty inexpensive new anyway I'm not looking to settle on something for the price, just curious...

Just be aware that it is just as much "mixing cabs" as any other combination of cabs unless they are built with the same speakers and tuning. And we all know what that leads to...
Man... I almost considered trying an Eden ex112 with it, I would have never started a thread about it though. I came to my senses anyway and want to match what I have. From the pictures it looks like an identical sealed cab design, but I won't bother with it unless someone can confirm that it's just an earlier version of the xl.

Transient attack was labeled on earlier Hartke stuff. Earlier still Hartke Systems. I'm not sure if the Transporter series had the same labeling as the XL series. Generally the Transporter series doesn't get the same love as the XL series.
Hope this helps,
Brent
I'm almost sure there were some earlier 210 cabs in the Hartke line that were ported - I know my 2.5 XL was. The "Transient Attack" branding was a Hartke signature technology/design approach and in the 80's and 90's (maybe later) appeared on everything Hartke - so I wouldn't use that as a guide for anything. +1 to the comment on the Transporter vs XL series - a night and day difference in build quality inside and out IME.

Thanks, knowing it was just part if the hartke name helps. Probably would have been helpful if I included a link to the ad. They label the cab 'hs210t', also relevant information I should have thought to include. Seems like it might be more in line with the transporter model than the xl. The cab itself just has the 'hartke transient attack' badge with no model listed in the corner like they have now. I'll pass on it and wait for a 210xl to pop up, or just order a new one. Thanks again!

It is definitely a Hartke cab and looks to be sealed. However, in my experience Hartke cabs of that era would have had a name plate in the lower right hand corner as you face the grille that would have said XL or Transporter. I strongly suspect it may be a Transporter, but am not 100% sure. Most of the components (including the speakers) were not quite as robust on the Transporters as they were on the XL's, but they looked almost identical with everything assembled. Hopefully a Hartke expert historian will know for sure and chime in.

Edit: If it's the Hartke cab I suspect it is, it will be rated at 100 Watts at 8 Ohms and won't be nearly as impressive as your 210 XL.

I'm not sure it's even a Hartke brand cabinet. The wood frame around the front grill should be about twice as thick on the XL model. Transporter models are thin like that one.
The thing that really throws me off is that generic input jack plate on the back.
Never seen any model Hartke cab that didn't have a jack plate with their name on it.
Someone could have stuck a Hartke name plate on a phony.
I would pass on it.
