BolinInteresting. I always alternate between a Clove Hitch, a Bowline Knot or a Double Overhand Stopper. A Soft Shackle works nicely on the tuning pegs, as well.

When you think about it, nylon strings on a classical are anchored at the bridge via what is basically a timber hitch I guessOnce a Rigger, always a Rigger. It's how we do...
There are no pass-through holes on the tail of that bridge....No through-body holes either......????
There are, they're just rusted a/f. You can only see 2 in the photo (right under the E and A strings), the other 2 are probably obscured by the intonation screws holding each saddle.
Why not unscrew the bridge and clean it up? Shouldn't be too hard. Could always coat or paint it afterwards. There are, they're just rusted a/f. You can only see 2 in the photo (right under the E and A strings), the other 2 are probably obscured by the intonation screws holding each saddle.
