Help ID this possible Ampeg B-15 speaker?

Numerous internet searches have turned up damp squib, so I'll inquire with thee.

I yoinked this 15 from a Leslie that was parted out after, only I kept this for a future project. The time has come to thin the herd of projects that I will never get to so before I toss this old beast I'd like to know more about it.

It certainly resembles a CTS, the likes of which were known to be found in Ampeg B's (and probably many others). It sounded perfect in the Leslie, so the repair seems to have been well done. No buzzes or anything. Any ideas? Thanks!

You are correct, it is a CTS from 1970 (137 is the EIA code for CTS).

CTS is correct as the manufacturer but they made speakers for a lot of companies. It says plush electronics so this was likely from one of the cabs they sold. You can see an example here with one of the plush 1000S amps.

That one looks to have a 2x15. Some of their product literature specifies an electro-tech speaker like the ones seen in that reverb listing, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they used some CTS speakers as well.

Never saw a CTS with an aluminum dust cover before. I'm sure it would be plenty good in a B-15 of the same era, might even be a little brighter than usual with the aluminum dust cover.

Ive not seen one stock in an ampeg, but did find this 74 round magnet 12” with an aluminum dust cap in an old R12R. The speaker (and the amp) had clearly seen much better days, and the speaker was ~12 years newer than the amp so definitely not original.
