Help identify serial number (Music Man SUB)

My 2003 SUB doesn't have a sticker with the serial on the back of the headstock (bought it used that way).
I've removed the neck to check if the number is there, but I can only make out X02.
I've sent the pic to Music Man but they are not too helpful so far (telling me to check the neck plate for serial number when SUBs don't have it there)

I'm seeing the neck date as October 8, 2003. Generally, neck and body dates are not real far apart. I would say it's 2003.

Yeah, I know the date, that's all good. I wanted to see if I can find the serial number out. Apparently, I can't, Music Man rep told me so. That's a real shame that they only had it on the sticker. Oh well, I guess it doesn't really matter anyways, I can still get the spare parts I wanted - new saddles.
