Help me choose what to do - AEB

Hi all,

I have an Olympia ob3ce bass by Tacoma. I stopped by Sam Ash and played an Epiphone Masterbilt Deluxe AEB. It felt so nice to play, much closer to the feeling of an Electric Bass than the Olympia. It sounded very nice unplugged as well.

I always thought Epiphone was more of a low end brand but I really like it. I am thinking of making a trade.

Anyone have any thoughts around this?

If you expect to play mostly unplugged, probably keep the Olympia. It'll have more volume. If it's pretty much for amped use, the Epi might be good. It'll feel and look slicker. Epi is a lower end Gibson, Oly is a lower end Tacoma. Not a step down, just sideways.
