Help with a vintage violin bass wiring!

Hi, first of all nice to meet you guys , I'm Davide; this is my first post here. I'm really puzzled and I need some help (please)!
I've bought an unknown italian violin bass ('60s maybe),the tone pot is missing and the image shows what is left. What bothers me is the identical value of the 2 free capacitors, was it a pot or a selector? Do I really need to restore the original wiring? There's also a resistor on the neck pickup and a capacitor on the bridge: does it make sense to you?

Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!

But not exactly.

About your questions, it's possible that there were two capacitors on 1 pot.
It's also possible that they were on some kind of switch. So I guess you need to find out more about the maker of your bass. And than compare it with similar models.

First thing I'd do is to check if the pickups are still functional.
And move on from there.

If you want the bass to sound like it was built, you need to restore the original wiring.
If you just want it to be audible, you can make something up by copying another 2 pickup, volume - tone - switch, bass wiring.

A capacitor on the bridge sound odd to me, resistors between pickup and switch or pot are more or less common in Italian sixties guitars and basses.
