Here's a Cool old video of Sir Paul and a Mapleglo Rick

I was on youtube looking for Medicine Jar to post in a TGP thread to show how he wasn't ALL about silly love songs. The man could flat out rock! This was the first return!

That's Paul's Ric as seen covered in psychedelic paint in Magical Mystery Tour. He had the finish stripped and the horn reshaped prior to the Wings Over America tour. Wings guitarist Jimmy McCulloch wrote the song and is shown singing it in the clip. "Medicine Jar" is a cautionary tale about the very potions that killed Jimmy in 1979 at age 26.

I suppose I should admit that my 2 favorite, and in fact the only Paul albums I bought were his first solo album and Venus and Mars. I wasn't a big Wings fan, but his solo album and Venus and Mars hit me hard. He was however, my favorite Beatle.

Here's one for you. With all of the musician's that get together on stage for various benefits, tributes, etc., why haven't we seen Paul McCartney and Steve Winwood on stage together? Two of the best(and my top 2 rock vocalists) overall musicians to ever grace the rock stage.

He did Lennon better than Lennon! Major vocal reverb and everything

You're right. "Let Me Roll It" furthermore features a rippin guitar lick that s likewise evocative of Lennon, specifically his single Cold Turkey, which featured a similar hard rock blast of a riff.

Wonder if Lennon ever commented on the Macca song?
