When I go to "watched threads" I used to be able to click on the red dot (which I believe used to be a different color) to get to new responses. That dot does nothing now and I have to scroll looking for wherever it is that I left off.

Help?

Note that this is flaky at best in the new theme, Alt.TalkBass.

I thought this issue was resolved for me, but its not.

When I click the red dot, nothing happens. When I click the thread title, I'm brought to the very first post. In all threads. I've tried multiple time. It seems impossible for me to go to the first unread response.

Can someone help? I'm about ready to give up altogether.

If you click on the text that shows last the last time the post was updated (ie. “Today at 8:14 AM”) it will take you to that post, which should be the last in that thread.

I don't see anything that says "last updated." Also, I don't want to go to the last post. I want to go to wherever it was that I left off. There are threads I haven't visited in months, and I sometimes want to see what I missed. It used to be simple. I clicked on the dot (the one that's now red) and it took me to my last read post. Now nothing happens when I click that dot. And when I click the thread, I go to the first post.

I know what you mean. If I visit a thread that I’ve been visiting recently, I usually can get sent back to the last read post. But, if it’s been awhile since I visited the thread, I sometimes get sent back to the beginning. Not sure why or what the amount of time that needs to pass is. Worked better before the change.

Joe, does this behavior only happen with threads you haven't read in months? I've noticed that myself, but only with ones that I haven't visited in a long time. Recently-viewed threads will take me to the first unread when I click the thread title next to the red dot. This has to be a bug. It also existed in the old system for me. The silly workaround is to click the "Jump to new" button at the top right. If you're on a mobile device, you may need to turn it into landscape mode to see the button. Does this help?

Can't answer that cuz the only unread threads now are ones I haven't looked at in months :) . I'll check though when the opportunity arises. If its a bug I hope it gets fixed. Thanks though.
