Double Bass How I recorded folk song from Finland

Hi!
I composed the song from the point of view of the double bass and I tried to make use of the chords/double-stop tecnique. But so that it is part of the whole.
I am folk musician from Finland.
The basses were recorded at the cottage and we used two condenser microphones. One recorded from the bottom near the sound hole and the other closer to the left hand.

How do you record natural double bass sound?

No reason for music like yours. A high quality mic, a quiet room and a good sound guy. I’ve recorded direct in from a pick up but you lose the natural beauty of the bass. Mic it.
