I love drop tunings, low tunings & lower fifth tuning bass guitars & upright basses. But I wouldn’t play them for heavy metal, hard rock, grunge or rap music; I’d play those special tunings for other genres of music, like love songs, soul music (including blue-eyed soul music), smooth jazz & quiet storm (smooth jazz vocals), salsa, Latin jazz, Brazilian jazz & even country music, including the Florida style country music, my personal favorite sub genre of country music.
