I'm considering getting a Digitech Drop as I've joined a band with a variety of different tunings and if I can get away with it i'd rather pack a pedal than lug around an extra bass for all the rehearsals. I've read many of the reviews on how the Drop works in this scenario on bass already.
What i'm wondering is how well it does the job as a straight Octaver pedal, using the Octave + Dry setting? If it does a reasonable job this might kill 2 birds with one stone, as some of the tracks we cover could do with an Octaver on bass. (Will be used with 4 string only tuned to standard or drop D)
