HPF Options?

This could be in the wrong forum, but....

High pass filters have been a must-have tool for DB players for a long time, but I have observed that these are starting to become popular on the EB side, as well. I want a HPF that can be used for both DB and EB. There doesn’t appear to be a big variety available on the market. So, what is everyone using? Are there cost-effective options out there?

fDeck is a great option for both DB and EB .. and the maker is a TB member.
I love mine although I use it less now that I have a few amps with fixed and adjustable HPFs built in (Mesa D800+ and WD800)

Yup, fDeck series 3 is definitely one of the best.

+1...I haven't ever heard anyone who used one say they weren't pleased, and I always have one in my gig bag. While I've never used one, I hear nothing but stellar reports about Broughton HPF/LPF pedals.

I have the fdeck3, use it most of the time I play out, was pretty surpried how much it helped my sound/tone, I'd say get the fdeck3, you'll be supporting a fellow TBer

It's pretty easy to roll your own if you have a DIY bent. Francis Deck has published freely available schematics for at least two of his designs, for starters.

Exact same report here. Even if I eliminated all other pedals I would still always use my Broughton.

I have the Thumpinator and the Broughton. I have played through the fDeck. I'm not a fan of the Thumpinator, and I would have been perfectly happy with either the Broughton or the fDeck. I really only chose the Broughton because the ordering process seemed easier for me. They both work great.
