Hum Canceling Jazz Pickups

I have a set of The DiMarzio DP123 and love the sound but hate the way they look.
Any alternatives which would be sonically in the same ballpark?

P.S. I know. I'm shallow, but looks are important to me as well. I'm going for a classic look and the diMarzios look super 90's.

So you mean silver poles instead of black? Maybe Schaller JBX? They’re supposedly identical to Model Js, but I think they have silver poles (or some do). If you want the Alnico look, then maybe Nordstrand’s SE model, supposedly quite beefy sounding, but I’m not sure how they compare to Model Js...

If you removed the grubscrews, filed the bottoms flat (also removing the black) then put them in upside-down from underneath, I think your pickups would look more traditional.

I'm pretty sure Dimarzio have been using grubscrew pole pieces since the 70's.

PS; In the past I've sanded and polished the tops of EMGs to remove both the logo and also that matt plastic look. So I get where you are coming from man...

Come on man. Nobody can see the pole pieces from more than six feet away. Maybe try cream covers instead. Or just paint some aluminum coloured paint.
