Double Bass I ended up with an Engelhardt neck. What should I do with it?

I have an Engelhardt that is a great work horse bass that I loved for bar, brewer, winery gigs, etc. But the skinny neck is probably the worst thing about it. I don't think I would ever consider using a skinny neck like that for a new bass/project.
