I found one of these, but is it worth it? Bunker ATB500

Bunker Guitars - ATB 500 Bass
I don't know much about these basses, but it played nice and the price was pretty good. Anyone know much about these basses? I know the salesman said that the neck adjustment was a little tricky, so that leaves me some concern.

Like Carvin, re-sale is not great. I'll go out on a limb and say $700-850 if you really love it. I've had a couple years ago and don't recall paying more than $600 for either. Keep in mind that they were headless solid-bodies. The one pic'd is truly a rare bird. They're built like tanks, too. The relief is adjusted via a port dead-center of the body heel or thru a port in the fingerboard (...like the Ibanez ATK's).

Thanks for that info. They are asking $499 and it's a semi-hollow body. Nice and light. They have it listed as an AB-500 and it's a light blonde color with a flame top

No, tuners would be at the bridge....which you don't have. Retro-fit is pretty expensive, too.

Here's one with both: Bunker Guitars - GTB 355 Bass
Yeah probably not worth it to retro-fit. I'm looking to this bass as a nice backup bass on those long 4 hour gigs where my shoulder feels like it going to fall off. Plus it has enough acoustic qualities to pick up and use to work out a quick part without needing to plug into an amp.
