As a 5 string bass player I find acoustic guitars tuned EADGBE awkward ...

So I tuned my acoustic guitar BEADF#B

I am experimenting with this tuning.

Here's hoping your guitar has a good strong neck joint and the bridge is glued on well. It may be fine, but whenever you go outside of design specs on a device, you are open for structural failure.
Not saying it will, just a heads up to watch out for it.
