Double Bass I need bow help

I am just starting to play in a folk / bluegrass type band with me electric stand up NS bass. I have started messing with a bow and the results have been pretty good just winging it to be honest but think a DVD tutorial might be helpful. Can anyone recommend a Book and or DVD that covers this subject?

Discoverdoublebass.com has excellent online courses that cover all sorts of double bass issues; there are dedicated bowing courses...I've purchased several of the courses and really enjoyed them...just wish there were more hours in the day to practice my db...If I could afford private lessons, I'd do so, but this is much more focused than using a bunch of free but random youtube videos, with all their conflicting approaches...btw the courses cost about the same or less than two private lessons...best of luck!

Like Wathaet said. There is really no substitute for a real teacher. I spent years on bad technique learned from YouTube. Just one simple introductory lesson was enough to show me what I was doing wrong.
