Digging through some stuff in the garage looking for a cable I found a Deltalab DGFX1 I bought for $29 when I was working at GC about 6 years ago. Just for s**ts and giggles I plugged it in and started playing with the overdrives since I'm on a constant quest. At least through headphones it sounds pretty dang good! Most of my original tone comes through and blended with a Zoom B3 it gets even better.
Maybe I'm just polluted by "I forgot I had this" mentality but I'm going to give it a whirl in the full band setting next weekend. Using the "Blues" amp modeler and cranking the gain I get a close reproduction of the Human Gear Animato sound.
