She insists on wearing these winter leggings with little sleighs on them. The sleighs were not printed correctly on the leggings. OK--they look stupid. I told her if she continued to wear them, I was going to buy a faux man bun. I have a pretty short haircut.
She just slitted her eyes at me and walked away.

Hmph...she's not taking me seriously. Off to the store tomorrow.

Go with what allows you to procreate, or attempt to.

One time (when I was 17) I made a really big deal about how embarrassed I was of my GF wearing a long jacket like from the Western movies. Can't recall what those are called right now. (Duster?)
Later I realized I had no control over what she was going to wear & I could take it or leave it, & I haven't bothered a woman about what they wear ever since.

Picking a fight with one's wife over a matter of fashion is not the acme of skill, for even if you win you lose.
Nah, not a fight. We really don't fight. I'll just tell her I've grown fond of her leggings after all, and think the man bun will make me equally fashionable, thus complimenting both of us. I'll get my boy to agree. He can take the heat. She knows I am not fashion conscience anyway. Should be interesting.

Yes, they were called "dusters"...

I'll send you a bottle of this....

The problem with your plan is that most women look good in leggings regardless of winter sleigh prints and all men look stupid in man buns.
