So a few months back I bought a used Ibanez bass, I believe it's a GSR205. IN the past week or so the saddle for the 5th string has started unseating itself regularly. I was wondering if there's some simple fix to this? Also if not, would it make more sense to take it to a repair shop or to just buy a new bridge and install it, permitting it fits on the bass.

Define "unseating". As long as the the baseplate and anchors (ballend) aren't bent, we can get you fixed-up on the cheap.

Have you tried trimming the spring on the intonation screw and the intonation screw so they will have better travel and won't bind? the B string saddle on my 2011 SRA305 was unstable until I trimmed the screw and the string so it would intonate better
