I currently have 7 Ibanez electric basses and 1 Ibanez acoustic electric bass, with 1 Ibanez electric guitar. Don't know whether they are up to your standard term of "collection" seeing that yours are all Japanese made Ibanez from the old builds while mine are mostly Indonesian with 2 Chinese made and they are practically new from 2010s builds.

Wow a blast from the past...my first good bass was a (fretted) Silver Series Jazz back in 1980...looked identical to yours apart from the pickup covers. The only model that I've never owned from that impressive little collection of yours is the SR885, although I've been contemplating getting one recently...

Good number. My Ibanezes consist of 9 basses and 3 guitars. I've found myself to be hooked on the various iterations of BTB's.
