Ibanez SR Premium bass Semi Hard Case

Hey All , first post , Hope you guys can help me find one of these cases. They come with the Ibanez premium line of basses sold overseas like in the UK. I have contacted Ibanez and they said the premium Semi hard case only comes with a new bass for overseas production. I have an Ibanez premium sr1305 black hardware I would love one of these for. Used , like new would be great !!

im too , im really need this semi hardcase for my bass ibanez premium , because this case really light and safety

Better than a gig bag, but i dont see the advantage. A hard drop and the bass is damaged. Plenty of light weight ABS cases that wont weigh much more than that, and protect the bass better.

I've just bought a 1200L and the case is substantially better than a gig bag. The top, bottom and sides are made of something hard with the soft material wrapped around it. I assume the hard bits are some sort of plastic (ABS?) or fibre glass. Too light to be plywood. It seems to have all the protection of a hard case with the weight of a good gig-bag. I think the moulded interior is also a step up from a regular generic case or a gig bag as it prevents the bass sliding about inside.

Mine is a lefty so even if I was willing to part with it, it wouldn't be any use to you guys.

Sorry for resirrecting an old thread but I had to point out that these cases are not just square gig bags. They are proper hard cases without the weight. Not as good as an aluminium flight case, but as good as an ABS case IMO.

I gather from this thread that these basses don't, or didn't come with the fitted cases in the US? That seems a bit stingy of Ibanez but just be glad you are not lefties or none of these basses would be available to you. Currently only the 200 and 300 for us lefties. The 1200 was the highest they ever made for us and only in limited numbers for a short time. :(:(:(

the big box stores in the U.S. steal the gig-bags when they put the instruments out on the showroom floor
I don't care how many former employees comment that it's not happening, the FACT is I never got the original gig-bag or case with any instrument I've purchased off the showroom floor at GC or SA

oh wait, one exception, a L-2000:
