How different are the different SR premium basses (2605, 1825, 1705, 1305, etc.)? Is it worth it to spend extra money on a newer one or save on an older one?

I couldn't tell you much about the differences between the different SR premiums, as I gather it's mostly the electronics, but I can tell you that my SR2400 is an absolute joy to play.

i love the wenge necks and the fact that they’ve got titanium rods reinforcing the necks,Ive got three and don’t think there’s a better instrument for the money unless you want a wider neck,I prefer the sr neck but if you’re looking for a Pbass width you may not like them

they have different body woods and hardware colors listed below
2605 has a 15 piece neck with luminescent side inlays, while the other three are 5 piece necks
