Ibanez SR Series Strap Button Position

Hi everyone

Just curious to see if anyone has actually changed the strap button position on their Ibanez Soundgears and has it made any major difference, particularly with the slim body design?

For example, raising the lower button up to just above the bridge (like Spector, Michael Tobias Design, etc. as well as the Ibanez Gerald Veasley and Gary Willis signature models)...

Was thinking of trying it myself and wanted to fid out if it would benefit me or if I would be making a mistake!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an SR600 and I have no issue and have never considered any need to change the button.

To be honest, like yourself, I've never had any problems with my SRs either, they are beautifully balanced and I've generally had no issues with having to re-adjust, etc., but was just curious if anyone has made such a change and if it's made any difference or improvements in terms of playing position, mainly, even though it's personal preference!
