Curious what I have on a couple of old basses.

Gibson = GHS Precision Flats. Purple silk at tuner end only. And looks like they're 38" in winding length.

Fender = These look different from the ones on the Gibson. The burgundy silk looks more like La Bella Low Tension Flats (before they started color-coding the ball ends). The core wire around the ball end appears to be round, not hex.
