Looking for some ideas for a hand truck or luggage cart to wheel on stage for a bass amp used with a bluegrass band. Carrying the amp isn't the isssue - I have a Genz Benz shuttle which weighs less than 10 pounds. It's more about the convenience of having something to just wheel on stage and be ready to go versus carrying an amp stand which would be something extra. I've seen small hand trucks used on occasion which have been modified somehow. But these put the amp on the floor basically, with no tilt to push sound up to ear level. I like the look of the luggage carts with the supporting wheels in the rear which would offer the upward tilt. Just haven't seen one less than $100.

I use a tall bar stool painted black with my little 60W cube.
Just be prepared for some occasional side eye for having a bar stool in a family environment. One place we play has a sign on the front door.
No cussing
No dancing
No smoking
No drinking

Is that in the town where they filmed Footloose?

:woot:

Naaah, it's an old converted church turned community center where they have music once a month. They only put up the sign when musicians and other rounders are going to be there. But the same rules are pretty common in places where they have bluegrass and traditional hillbilly music.
They are getting pretty progressive these days though. There are only a few places left that won't allow an electric bass, but don't try to bring drums in the door anywhere unless you are looking to start trouble..
