Immigrant

I’m sure some of you will remember TB member Immigrant from the rowdier years of olde. I had noticed that he had all but disappeared in recent years and I was surprised when he reached out to me as a farewell in 2021 to say that he had entered hospice care and felt the end was near. We exchanged a few messages and my last unanswered message was a year ago, so I feel that it’s safe to assume that we probably will never hear from him again.

All I know about the man was that his name was Pat, he was in his 70’s, and he had a grown, disabled son.

Pat, whoever you were, you were great to hang out with on here and I hope you are comfortable.

Just saw this - rest in peace. I did not know him beyond what he wrote on here, but I always felt he wrote a lot of good sense.
