Embarrassed to say I never understand how to match cab with amp:

Looking to match a cabinet to my mesa boogie titan big block v12
specs:
  • 1200 Watts @ 4 Ohms (840 Watts @ 2 Ohms, 650 Watts @ 8 Ohms), Simul-State™ Power w/ 4 or 2 Ohm Impedance Select Switch for optimum Power/Load Performance / 22 Tube driven Power MOSFET’s, 4x12AX7
Can I use this amp I am looking at Ampeg BXT410HL4 4-Ohm Bass Cabinet with Horn (600 Watts, 4x10 in.)
specs:
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: BXE-115HL4 / 8 BXE-410HL4 / 8 TYPE 1x15 Bass Enclosure 4x10 Bass Enclosure FREQ RESPONSE (+/-3dB) 42Hz – 18kHz 45Hz – 18kHz USABLE LOW FREQ (-10dB) 37Hz 35Hz RMS POWER HANDLING 300 watts 600 watts PEAK POWER HANDLING 600 watts 1200 watts IMPEDANCE 4 and 8 ohms* 4 and 8 ohms* SENSITIVITY 99dB SPL 1w/1m 99dB SPL 1w/1m MAXIMUM SPL 125dB 127dB COMPONENTS 1 heavy duty 15” 4 heavy duty 10” cast frame speaker, cast frame speakers, 4” voice coil, 109 oz 2.5” voice coil, 56 oz magnet magnet 1 hf horn/driver 1 hf horn/driver

Thanks in advance

Impedance-wise you're good to go.
Just be careful with the power you send to the cabinet.
Thanks for taking the time WC. So it's not a concern that the amp puts out 1200 at 4 ohms. The guy selling the cabinet said in the description that 4 x 10" speakers that handle 600w @ 4ohms. Do you mean that I should be careful volume wise? Sorry about my ignorance about this. Always confused me.

I know a guy who has that same amp. He runs it through an ampeg 810.

You be less likely to cause damage if you went with an 810.
Me? I'd never haul around a fridge so I understand why you might not want to.

A side note;
I'm not sure about the Mesa, but years ago I had a Genz Benz GBE1200. It had a similar impedence selector. @agedhorse informed me that if I set the impedence switch to the 2 ohm, but only had an 8 ohm cab connected, it would reduce the output. I believe it was 450 watts instead of 550, but don't quote me, was years ago.
The Mesa may or may not have this capability, I don't know. So don't go trying it until someone more informed than myself chimes in.
