Wanted to send a huge thanks to @bassgrackle here on TalkBass, and all you TB'ers... I've been loving the site ever since I joined, but haven't shared a ton of the bassporn or the amps/cabs here (which I know I should)... that said, I recently started sharing short 1 min clips on Instagram and got around to uploading a couple on YouTube...
Thought I'd throw this on here in case anyone else wanted to listen to the new stingray bass doin' it's thing.
Of course, it is a slap bass demo (with the exception of a small finger fill), and in 120BPM so if you're not a slap fan, even though it's just a minute long, here's your chance to run Pickups are running in middle position, 3, parallel both HB's... really tight bass and I've always been a huge fan of that MusicMan Stingray growl, was happy to see it's still alive in the new neo pickups, 18v pre and HH config.
All the love to my TalkBass fam here and really digging the finds on the Classifieds, some really cool folks to deal with.
*ps that bend on the E-string at G was born out of necessity after watching too many Randy Coven vids as a kid, that lick is a poor take on his joint with Phil X, "Great Necks," where he runs wild with his Kahler Trem (check it out on YouTube).
