I just got an older BDDI. I can't seem to figure out if the "Phantom & Ground connect switch is on when the switch is pushed to the right or the left. Nothing in the manual about it other than "when engaged". Doesn't say left or right. This should be easy. (I hope)

Take the battery out. Plug it into something with phantom power. Figure out which position makes sound happen.

I don't have anything with Phantom power and I won't have time tomorrow to go somewhere to check it out before tomorrow night. I was hoping someone who owns an older BDDI or Paradriver would know. But thank you. If nothing else I'll be able to do the battery thing soon.

If I recall correctly it's on when flipped to the right where the words "Phantom and Ground Connect" appear. I have the last version of the pedal and the newest one, but not the very first version, however, the switches on the first two probably all operate the same way.

This is not the oldest version of the BDDI. What you're saying make absolute sense. I will start off with the switch to the right. Thanks for the info.

Once you're hooked up and have Phantom Power on, hit the pedal switch and if the pedal is not on, flip the switch the other way and hot the pedal switch again. It will be super obvious within one or two taps and/or one flip of the switch. The red light means success...Good luck!
