Inspiration needed!

Hi all, I have been playing ALOT during these lockdowns and i'm getting a bit bored of the same songs and bluesy/ jazzy jams I have with myself.

Any recommendations of some good melodic styled bass lines or solos I could have a play with? I like the style of victor wooten but they are rarely tabbed properly to learn.

When I saw your thread, it happened to show up right under Phil Lesh Appreciation Society: Enter the Philzone... v2.0. There's no one like Phil Lesh for "good melodic styled bass lines."

If you really want something inspiring, skip the tabs and work on some ear training. Sugar Magnolia might be a good start - I'm pretty sure there's an isolated bass track out there somewhere to help you get started.
