Installed Schaller Roller bridge on Sterling Sub Ray 5 - does it look right?

I just installed a Schaller Roller bridge on my Sterling Sub Ray 5. It did not line up with the original bridge mounting holes, so I had to measure and re-drill. I believe it looks like I've measured correctly. I've attached pics to get other opinions of those more experienced than me. I measure 17" from the 12th fret to the G string saddle. There is still room to move the saddle back and forth. I was just wondering if it looks like the bridge is too forward and needs to be moved back a bit?

Notes intonate fine, for the most part. However, I do find that notes on the upper registers (15th fret and above) on the B, E and A strings are flat. But the open string and 12th fret are spot on.

looks fine, you have room to go both forward and back on all the saddles and you're lined up with the edges of the neck.

then don't play those notes

seriously though, way up high on thick loose strings will tend to not behave very well, the string just becomes too thick relative to its short length to vibrate right. if they're good down where they still sound good (12th and below) then you're OK.

Yes, if you can intonate the strings with no problem, you installed it correctly. Are they intonated in the 2nd picture? If so, then IMO you installed the bridge perfectly. And, AFAIC, a Schaller roller bridge looks right on almost any bass...

Thanks guys. Its intonated in the 2nd pic. But, as i mentioned, the upper frets are flat. I do like the bridge and likes the way it looks on the bass. Much better than the stock.

I'm inclined to agree with walterw on the reasons for that; thick strings, and not enough length to vibrate sufficiently when fretted that high up the neck. Twisted string, or the string stuck in the nut slot, are also possibilities...
