Double Bass Installing rubber tube on bow.

Hello, I am going to try a tube on my bow to see how the grip feels, I find it's relaxing but never used it on my bow, not sure if how it affects the technique but wish to experiment.
Does anyone have tips to install it? Should I use some sort of lubricant?
Not sure what to use for this purpose.

Baby powder. It will slip right on.

Dish soap. And lots of paper towels.

I used dish soap too but baby powder is a good option as well.
