Hey gang,
Someone cold-called me for a lesson, but I have never taught. The person holds a Bachelors in music and has been classically trained as a tuba player, with 20 years of experience. He needs to become reasonably proficient enough to play in army rock and jazz groups, the latter being my area of most experience.
I have played electric for 17 years and only have experience to go off of. I was totally honest with the guy and he still seems game. I offered one free lesson to see how we work together. Assuming he commits, how can I make sure I put him on a path for success? What kinds of resources can I draw from to teach him well?
Thanks everybody.
