iPhone video question....

My wife took a three minute video of me sitting in on a jam the other night with her iPhone 6S. She's trying to send the video to friends of ours and my Gmail account and is unable to do so..... she gets some message about the video being too long or some such other nonsense.

If we can land a man on the moon, we sure as heck can transfer a 3 minute video from an iPhone to other people....... what is she doing wrong??

Put it on YouTube. Make it private if needed. Share the link with friends. Delete video later if you want.

The raw video is probably very large. You could run it through a free video compression tool to cut down the size substantially.

Good idea. Every iPhone owner has 5GB of free iCloud.

It’ll still be a very large file. iCloud sharing may be the easiest route.

She was able to send it to our daughter (who also has an iPhone 6S) but no one else.

No. No we can't.

A video of that size will probably exceed the attachment size limitations.

Post it on facebook straight from the phone.

If you don’t want to use iCloud, sign up for a Dropbox account.

Open up Images on the phone, select the video, and use the “share” icon to select Dropbox.

Open up Dropbox and share the video as a link with whoever.
