Bear with me, this will involve a guitar usage, but TB hasn't let me down before so here goes...
I've got a B1on and it's great for silent practice on the bass since it has an "aux in" input for a stereo audio source. It looks like this:
Now I wanted to do a similar thing with my Pedal Steel through a G3x (which seems to have have the same back end as a B3x), and it doesn't look like there's a way to do this. The back of my G3x lacks an aux-in and looks like this:
Can I send audio into this thing through the USB? Can one of the outputs be reconfigured as an input?
Alternatively, what would be the easiset way to send my signal through the USB into my computer, mix it in real time with music files or streaming music and send it into my headphones from the computer?
The impetus for this is that I'm going on a 2 week road trip. I'd like to bring just my Pedal steel, the G3x and my laptop. Probalby also a bass and B1on, but that's a system I know actually works.
