Doesn't look real at all to me. Pickguard looks off, body doesn't look right, and the logo looks weird. Unless it's a Japanese fender, I'd say it's a parts/Chinese knockoff.
I hate to judge by proportions takes from (probably) cell-phone photos with their inherent lens distortion, but I'd have to say "NO" on that one. As has been stated, too many things look "off" in the pics.
Total fake, not one Fender part on that load of firewood....
It's not necessarily a bad bass. It's just not a Fender.

Now, everybody go back and read the posts about whether it is ethical to put a Fender logo on a parts bass or a Squire or any other non Fender bass.
I like that. Think I'll make a waterslide for the Squier I'm modding that says Firewood with the reversed F.

Well if the bass didn't have the fake Fender logo applied, the potential buyer wouldn't be asking if it's a Fender. ;-)

The fact that he's asking shows he has an inkling it's not a real Fender.
And that relates to a hobbyist doing the same to a personal instrument how?
I get the argument by the way, it's just flawed. The argument is that if you do this AND that, then it's wrong. And then saying anyone who does this will EVENTUALLY do that. In his case, "this" is applying the logo and "that" is selling the bass as if it were a Fender.
Eventually that hobbyist will sell or pass leaving someone wondering if it's real or not.
