If this bass is the real deal someone should jump on it for 1500 bucks!! I do not know enough about the basses to judge....not signed. That is my first flag. The woods look nice.....the woodwork on the neck joint very nice.....what do you think??

LOL very high end indeed.
Poor glue joints.. cracks in wood... terrible finish... poor alignment of laminates... wt% is the kydex plastic thing at the bottom of the bass for?
Horrible copy.
I wouldn't pay more than $500 for it.... you would need to pull plastic crap off, sand and paint it a solid color, because you can't fix the screw ups in the woodwork on it...and you'd see them every time you look at it.

I know nothing of Carl Thompson basses but, the instrument is nicely built, the hardware looks unique, the screws in the headstock picture are consistently unusual, and the finish isn't bad. The crack in the back of the headstock could be simple wear.

Are EMG's a standard on CT basses, or Hipshot tuners? Can't tell what the brand name of the bridge is. Overall, it's kinda cool.
