For some reason whenever the unit is plugged in even with all fx bypassed, when i hit only the E string theres a lot of electronic noise. The rest of the strings sound fine.

Did anyone ever emcounter this?

What kind of electronic noise? Is it a type of distortion, almost as if it sounds like the battery in your instrument is about to die? Or like an nasty distortion that only happens when you really play the strings hard? Does the "noise" not happen when you back off the volume and/or bass tone knob on your bass?

If you can, record this noise and post it up (with a link to the audio file, or on SoundCloud). This is really easy with your B3 as a USB interface.

Did you try the ACTIVE/PASSIVE switch on the rear of the unit? I have some hot output basses that I could NOT use with the MS60B, but are fine with the B3. The lack of an input pad on the MS60B forced me to ditch it. So far, all my hot output basses are perfectly fine going into the B3.
