Item for sale moved to another thread...

Mods,

My thread for a Peavey F-800G head was moved to non-bass related items for sale and I'd like to appeal this move on the grounds the F-800G is simply a F-800B (bass head) with the addition of effects. The EQ, etc. are identical between them, and given the power output guitar usage doesn't make practical sense (YMMV - I recognize that).

I know Peavey called it the 'guitar version' but my intention was to market it to the larger bass amp audience and I'm afraid it will languish in obscurity and take longer to find a home. If it was a Marshall JCMxxx I get it - definitely a guitar-focused amp (although some bassists used them) but I feel strongly this is a different case.

What say ye?

Peavey's own manual states that the F-800G is the guitar version, therefore it belongs in the forum with other items that aren't bass related. I'm sorry you feel that it won't be noticed as much there. I listed an iPad for sale last week. It may have gotten more clicks had I posted it in the Basses classifieds, but that's not where it belonged.

For the record I am not just a random moderator chiming in, I'm the one that moved it.
