I have spent the last year sweating over threads, ads, comparisons, other members here wringing their own hands over which one and what if's.
I'm no pro, it's not worth a frequency response, besides I'm already half deaf. I've debated the Fender SB 300 and the Ampeg Heritage to death in my mind, and came within a hair of pulling the trigger on either one more than once, but was always left with the cliffhanger, "it might be the wrong one".
With that in mind, and the fact that few that hear will even care or put one minutes thought into it, I've decided to go with the one that (hopefully) rules them all (for me), bass and guitar, in my small world of reason, the Kemper.
I'll be using the D800 to power my SW cabs and a Mission cab for guitar work. My small world, no harm done to anyone, but the anxiety is over. I allowed this to become one huge first world problem. I really got too involved in the GAS. I like different sounds, lots of 'em and hopefully it will be a huge playground.
I'll report, maybe to the choir, but someone may find it helpful.
